Makes great coffee, is awkward emptying the water from the carafe, but easily figured out.
I followed the instructions for the Clean setting and I cannot cancel this action. The Clean setting never actually started so I tried to Cancel the Clean setting and that never happened!
Any suggestions??

I wanted a stainless coffee maker so chose this one. I've never been so frustrated with a coffee pot. It makes decent coffee, but there are big problems that make it inconvenient to use. First there is the fact that you cannot pour water directly from the pot into the machine without tipping the machine. The holes are small and there is not enough room to tip the pot sufficiently to empty the water so tipping the whole machine is the only way to empty the pot. Mr. Coffee figured that out 50 years ago. Half the time the automatic pause doesn't work and coffee is dumped all over the hot plate part. The final gripe is the drippy pot. After the coffee is done, no matter how carefully I pour from the pot into my cup, I leave a dribble of coffee every morning on the countertop.
I can’t figure out your brew/pause function. Also, I cannot figure out the bold/clean feature. Furthermore from my usage it’s better than a missed coffee but not a type of product that I would promote over in generic brand at this point. That being said, I grew up, drinking black coffee from a hot water tap, so I have no good comparison of the situation. I just need to understand the functionality of the buttons better thank you.
